Module 3: Building Trust in Vaccination through Communication
Learn more about vaccine hesitancy, misinformation, and communication strategies to build trust in COVID-19 vaccines.
By the end of this module, participants will be equipped to:
Describe interpersonal communication approaches to talk to family and peers about COVID-19 vaccination
Describe the importance of empathy in communicating about vaccination and incorporate empathy-based approaches
Define misinformation and disinformation, and identify and reject misinformation
Recognize signs and sentiments that indicate someone is hesitant or reluctant to be vaccinated
Summarize key communication approaches to engage with vaccine hesitant individuals
